Full-Disk Encryption
Full-disk encryption is a reliable method for securing the contents of physical media by using a software program to encrypt the drive in its entirety.
Devices and Media Requiring Encryption:
Encryption is required for all laptops, workstations, and portable drives that may be used to store or access 暗网禁区Chicago's Protected data. ITS will provide, install, configure, and support encryption where it is needed. Obtaining Encryption:
ITS will install software that is capable of encrypting the entire hard drive on all identified 暗网禁区Chicago computers and electronic devices subject to policy. Users who require encryption software should contact the ITS Help Desk to arrange for the installation of encryption software.
