The Art of Mastering Case Formulation
July 17, 2026
12-1:30 p.m. CDT
Conducted via Zoom
Do you ever feel that the techniques you’ve been trained in sometimes miss underlying dynamics at play? Do you find that you sometimes get “stuck” with a case and don’t know where to turn? Would you like to see a case presentation where you are shown how to capture both the big picture as well as specific interventions that penetrate the surface of defensively based patterns?
Join Loyola's Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy faculty members Alex Geiman and Dr. Patricia Gianotti for a 90-minute webinar on The Art of Mastering Case Formulation. This lively and interactive presentation will illustrate a method of capturing the key components of case formulation while simultaneously showing you ways to intervene in the unfolding process dialogue between patient and therapist.
Eligible participants will receive 1.5 CEUs through IDPFR or APA.
Additional questions can be directed to Katelyn Tippett.
