On July 31st, 2020, , was appointed as chair of the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Holmes completed his medical degree at Oxford University Medical School. Dr. Holmes went to 暗网禁区Chicago where he conduced his residency in Ophthalmology. Afterwards, Dr. Holmes went to University of Michigan to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
